Manage DFS
Managing Distributed File Systems (DFS)
Within the Storage Management section of the FlexSDS Web Management Platform, users can manage existing Distributed File Systems (DFS). Click on the DFS link in the left-hand panel to access the centralized DFS management interface.
All DFS instances in the cluster will be displayed in the main view. Select a DFS to view detailed information.
General Tab: Displays basic information about the selected DFS.
Access Control (ACLs): Manage DFS permissions. For more details, refer to the ACL management chapter.
DFS Operations
Creating a New DFS: Please refer to the Create DFS section for step-by-step instructions.
Delete DFS
To delete a DFS, select the checkbox next to the DFS you wish to delete.
Click the Delete link.
In the confirmation dialog, click OK to permanently remove the DFS.

⚠️ Warning: Deleting a DFS will erase all associated data. Proceed with caution.
Attach NFS Interface
To attach an NFS interface to a DFS, select the checkbox next to the target DFS.
Click the Attach link. The Add Interface to DFS dialog will appear.

Choose the interface type (NFS).
Specify the Mount Path.
Enable or disable IP Authorization as needed.
Click OK to attach the interface.
Detach Interface
To detach an interface from a DFS, select the checkbox next to the target DFS.
Click the Detach link.

In the confirmation dialog, click OK to proceed.
Expand DFS Capacity
To increase the capacity of a DFS, select the checkbox next to the desired DFS.
Click the Expand link. The Expand DFS Size dialog will open.

Enter the new total size (in GB).
Click OK to apply the change.
Refresh View
Click the Refresh link to update the interface and display the latest DFS status and configurations.
